JOB DESCRIPTION

Company Overview

Switchgrass Spirits is a worker-owned distillery in Saint Louis, MO. We focus on grain-to-glass distilling of high-quality bourbon and rye whiskey along with apple brandy and bottled cocktails. We are currently distributed in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive sales in Missouri with a focus on On-Premise and Off-Premise accounts in the Greater St. Louis Region

• Create and sustain relationships with customers that focuses on product movement

• Work with Account Staff & Distributor to ensure product is placed well, shelves are stocked, and shelf placements are maintained

• Work with accounts, Switchgrass team, and Distributor to create and support sales driven activities/promotions

  Examples: store tastings, sponsored nights @ on-premise accounts, training class for staff

• Manage field work, contacts, and schedule with variety of accounts and customers

• Focus on meeting company’s sales goals for commission

• Weekly reports track account visits, activations, and sales movement by account

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sales experience required

• Alcohol industry experience ideal

• Ability to track data and reports sales numbers accurately in an office setting and while mobile in the field

• Respectful and friendly with customers from a variety of cultures and backgrounds

• Responsible with alcohol consumption

• Reliable car & clean driving record

COMPENSATION:

• Commission based pay structure, $36,000-$75,000 annual salary

• Worker Ownership (K1 tax form)

• Paid Vacation

• Flexible working schedule

• Per Diem for out-of-town travel
