Pat Grosch

A balance between creativity and hustle, our Head Distiller Pat brings his background working in professional kitchens and as a musician to the art of distilling. With seven years of experience milling, sweet mashing, making cuts to taste, and managing our barrel program, Pat does it all. He has designed bottled cocktails that quickly went from seasonal releases to year-round best sellers. His well honed recipes and techniques create award winning bourbons and rye whiskeys.

Sarah Miller

As the Head of Compliance and Sales, Sarah makes sure Switchgrass Spirits isn't just good whiskey, but also a reliable business partner. With a background and master's degree in education, along with work in the public sector and NFPs, her attention to detail, documentation, and clear communication help her work well with a variety of customers and manage the team's obligations efficiently.

Nick Kanter

With years of experience in the hospitality and alcohol industry, Nick Kanter is an important member of the team. He truly cares about helping bars, restaurants, and live music venues thrive which makes him one of the best in sales. Known around town for being “SO nice” (actual quote from several industry folks), we feel truly lucky to have him repping Switchgrass and Eight Track in Missouri.

Nick Colombo

A leader of Switchgrass Spirits since its inception in 2016, Nick serves Switchgrass well as Operations Manager. He applies past experience as the head of an international charity and a mechanic to make sure things run smoothly at the distillery. He enjoys seeking out new markets, making deals, designing new products, and spreading the word about well made spirits.
